Russia to Finance Infrastructural Projects

According to the news portal RBK, the Russian Government decided to finance infrastructural projects at 440 BB RUR (10.7 BB EUR). In the course of his report at the State Duma the prime minister Dmitry Medvedev made a statement that  “Legislation is being finalized to allow issue of sovereign infrastructural bonds, including pension funds”, Mr. Medvedev said. “These are substantial funds – 440 BB RUR in 2013”.

Among priority infrastructural projects will be  the Moscow – St .Petersburg high-speed mainline and construction of the Lena bridge.
