Nationwide Strikes in France

Our partners have advised that there will be a nationwide longshoremen strike in France beginning Thursday, April 9th, at 6am and running through Friday, April 10th.   Port operations are expected to be delayed due to the strike.
In addition to the longshoremen’s strike, France’s largest air traffic controller union SNCTA has called for a two-day strike  over a dispute involving a raise in retirement age for air traffic controllers.  Many flights are being canceled or delayed as a result of the strike. Further controller strikes are being planned for April 16-18 and April 29 – May 2.
Please be guided accordingly.  RCL Agencies will continue to monitor the situation and provide further updates once available
