The Chinese Lunar New Year Holiday

The annual Lunar New Year holiday which officially begins on February 8th  and finishes on February 13th, is one of the most important traditional holidays for family reunions in China. Please be advised that some companies in China may close operations and allow workers to leave their posts for an extended period of time during the Lunar New Year holidays.

The festival is celebrated in many countries throughout Asia, including Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, and Indonesia.  Millions of  people travel back to their home towns each year for the holiday.
