China Advance Manifest Regulation

As of June 3, 2014, strict enforcement of advance manifest requirements for cargo discharging or transshipping at Shanghai comes into effect. China Customs requires that complete shipping instructions should be submitted 2 working days prior the load port cargo cutoff. The advance manifest submission will be mandatory for all China import cargoes that are discharged or transshipped at Shanghai port.  This lead time is required to manifest shipments for China Customs review, and to resolve any requests for additional information that China Customs may require as well as to reconcile any Customs rejections or Do Not Load Message received  prior to vessel starting operations.

This now becomes a no docs, no load status for  Shanghai discharged or transshipped cargoes for all G6 vessels with cargoes for Shanghai port of discharge.

Please be guided accordingly and submit your shipping instruction information in a timely manner.
